LRL Internet Seminar Enterprises.

LRL Internet Seminar Enterprises is a LaRed Latina sponsored concern which is involved in conducting "Internet/WWW" seminars/lectures for High School, College, and University Latino/Hispanic/Chicano organizations and associations from throughout the West Coast, Southwest, Intermountain, Midwest, and Texas Regions. Our seminars can be conducted for special events, conferences, or ethnic celebrations such as "El Cinco de Mayo," "El Deiz y Seis de Septiembre," "Hispanic Heritage Month" related activities, or any other types of school or college sponsored educational, cultural, or academic events.

The primary goal of LRL Internet Seminar Enterprises is to educate Hispanic/Latino/Chicano high school, college and university students, faculty, staff and administrators about the new Internet/WWW Revolution which is transforming the way Americans and the whole world communicates.

The following are some of the issues and questions LRL Seminars will discuss and address.

LRL Internet Seminar Enterprises:

What is the relationship between the Internet/WWW and the Hispanic community in the USA?
How are Latinos becoming involved in the new so called Information Super Highway? Is the Hispanic community being left behind?
How are Latinos taking advantage of this Mega Communications Revolution which is occuring in America and the world today?
What are we doing to educate ourselves, and other people about the Internet/WWW?
Where is the Internet/WWW heading in the turn of the century and beyond.
What are the major national Latino Internet/WWW resources in the country today? Where are these enterprises heading in the future? Who are the major "Latino Internet Players?"
What are Listserv lists and(or) Discussion Groups? How can these lists be used for educational, social, employment, networking, research, and economic purposes? How can these lists be used to benefit our communities?

Lecture/Seminar: Expenses from Salt Lake City or Las Vegas plus $1000 per diem.
Seminar Honoraria: $3,000 honoraria per seminar.
Special Equipment: Overhead projector, and overhead computer monitor with WWW access preferred but not required.
Special Criteria: We will appreciate at least a two weeks advance notice.
