The Horizon Project is a cooperative program which targets High-risk students with academic or attendance difficulties. These students include teen parents, pregnant teens, homeless teens and other youth with diverse medical, emotional, psychological, and learning problems, or concerns. This project also provides counseling services, support, and assistance to teens who are at risk, ESL, and special education students.
Dr. Chairez is a active Civic, and Social leader of the community, and has been involved in coordinating and organizing a host of social service, and educational programs such as the monumentally successful Latino Youth Leadership Conference which has been held in Las Vegas for the past four years.
