In January 5, 1996, Larry was also elected as the President of the Clark County School District Board of Trustees. Mr. Mason has the singular distinction of being the first Hispanic to hold this prestigious position in the 83 year old history of the Clark County School District.
Mr. Mason obtained his B.A. degree in Human Performance and Development, and his Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
A native of Tucson, Arizona, Mr. Mason, has six children. He is a member of several organizations for college admissions counselors, local Chambers of Commerce, and the League of United Latin American Citizens.
