About Dr. Augustine Trujillo:


Dr. Augustine Trujillo, Executive Director of The Center for Ethnic Student Affairs at the University of Utah since 1984, received an A.A. from Otero Junior College (68), B.A. from Adams State College (71) and a Ph.D., in Education from the University of Colorado (83). Prior to his current employment, he was the Assistant Director of the High School School Equivalency Program at the University of Southern Colorado.

Dr. Trujillo has extensive experience working directly with diverse Ethnic Minorities Student Programs.

He was the coordinator of the School to Work Transition Program in Denver; the Assistant Director of the Special Services Program in the University of Southern Colorado; Student Program Counselor in the College Assistance Migrant Program in Adams State College and College Instructor in the Upward Bound Program in Otero Junior College.

In 1972 Dr. Trujillo was selected as a Southwest Regional Fellow in the Ford Foundation's Leadership Development Program. In addition he has taught in the Public Schools in Colorado and Arizona. A Vietnam Era Veteran, he served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965.
